YONECO conducted a session on child development at MAT Academy in the Zomba.
During the session, the learners were informed about various forms of abuse they may encounter, such as child labour, sexual abuse, harassment, sexual assault, and neglect, among others.
The learners were encouraged to report such cases to parents, guardians, teachers, or through the Tithandizane toll-free Child Helpline at 116.
The students were very happy to learn about the toll-free child helpline and expressed eagerness to use it to report various issues affecting them.
After the session, a series of games were organized for recreation and physical exercise.
